Thank You! Gordon

Gordon Giltrap performed to a full house at the Fleece Inn, Bretforton on April 20th, raising an amazing £1,178.00 for The Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Trust and with those lucky enough to get a ticket witnessing a few added surprises.

The evening was very special as it marked twenty years since Gordon first met Tracy and Sue Sollis. This was when Tracy needed a bone marrow transplant and Gordon took part in a fundraising event. Since that day and following the loss of Tracy’s brave battle against the disease, Gordon has been raising funds with passion and commitment.

Gordon who is Patron of ‘The Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Trust’ was pleasantly surprised on the night to receive tribute messages from Sir Cliff Richard, Oliver Wakeman, Roger Bruce and the former Chief News Correspondent for BBC Midlands, Gary Hudson.

Founder Member of the Trust, Sue Sollis, gave a vote of thanks and presented Gordon with a framed picture which outlined some of his activities for The Trust over the past twenty years.

There was much amusement when Gordon also received a pair of acoustic guitar socks, which he has since Tweeted he will be wearing on his ‘Ravens and Lullabies’ band tour with Oliver Wakeman.
