Charity’s Special Moment Invite

A unique opportunity to catch up on the latest life-saving research for cancer patients with leukaemia will be available in Evesham.

The Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Trust will be holding its A.G.M on Monday 18th May commencing at 7pm at The Fleece Inn, Bretforton. Representatives from the Anthony Nolan Research Institute will attend to give a presentation of work being carried out and progress being made within The Tracy Sollis Laboratory.

Divya K Shah (Postdoctoral Research Scientist) will talk about her work and the benefits of the scientific equipment which the Trust has donated. There will also be information given by a member of the Clinical Scientist Team to discuss the use and benefits of the soon to be donated equipment called a Fragment Analyser. There will be further discussions on Third Generation Sequencing.

Founder of The Trust, Sue Sollis said, “I very much hope as many people as possible will attend as this is such a great chance to hear about progress being made and to know how money raised is making a difference to those suffering with the disease.”

Representatives from the Research Team are travelling up from London for the occasion.

A chance to socialise will follow after the meeting with a light buffet provided.
