Potentially Life Saving Appeal - Target Reached

Worcester Royal Hospital

Update 26th June 2012 Target Reached

A big thank you to all who have contributed to 'The Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Trust' successfully reaching its target for the new Assessment Unit. The equipment required has now been purchased and received by Worcester Royal Hospital.

Oct 2011

The Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Trust has launched an appeal for funds to equip a new Emergency Assessment Bay (EAB) at Worcester Royal Hospital.

The new assessment bay will provide a safer environment for immunologically compromised patients who would normally have to attend the hospital’s A & E department prior to admission.

This is an exciting opportunity to make an enormous difference to the welfare of leukaemia patients. The sooner the funds are raised for purchasing the medical equipment required the better.

When established, patients will go directly to the EAB for assessment and the commencement of the appropriate treatment in a timely manner before being admitted to the ward.

A total of over £7,000 is needed and anyone who can assist in anyway is urged to get in contact.

Either call into the charity’s shop 5 Library Arcade,  62 High Street, Evesham or telephone  (01386) 421424 / mobile 07707522450.
