Through funds raised during the year donations made for the Year 2011 include:
Appointed a Tracy Sollis Complementary Therapist who sees between 50-60 patients per month
Purchased a Bacterial Free Couch for Worcester Royal Hospital to help prevent cross infection
Purchased hand held Dopplers for assisting with locating veins when inserting pick lines.
Purchased Oxygen Thermometers used for monitoring a patient’s condition.
Purchased a Fridge for the use of patients on the ward to store their own food safely
Maintained the upkeep and repair of electric beds on Laurel 3 ward Worcester Royal Hospital
Assisted with hospital transport costs for a patient experiencing financial difficulty
Began purchasing medical equipment required for a new assessment unit at Worcester Royal Hospital
Through funds raised during the year donations made for the Year 2010 include:
A Nitrogen Tank and Laboratory Accessories for the storage of life saving blood stem cells.
Two Intravenous Pumps for life saving transfusions and chemotherapy treatment
A Tea Trolley for Worcester Royal Hospital's leukaemia day unit, enabling refreshments to be available.
Through funds raised during the year, donations of equipment presented in 2007 include, five intravenous pumps, 2 syringe drivers and three electric beds.
