Anthony Nolan Research Institute Visit

A party of volunteers and supporters have travelled down to London to see first-hand the work carried out within the Tracy Sollis Laboratory and the joining labs within the Anthony Nolan Research Institute.

Greeted by Professor Alejandro Madrigal and Chief Executive Henny Braund presentations were given by members of the research team followed by a comprehensive tour of the labs.

Sue Sollis, who is the founder member of the Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Trust said, “Last year alone we donated over £50,500 worth of laboratory equipment to assist the scientists with their work.”

Among those who attended was shop volunteer Gill Gregg who said, “It was a very inspiring visit and wonderful to see the equipment in full use. We all came away highly impressed by the teams enthusiasm and dedication towards their work”.
