Vein Finders

To date The Trust has provided many Hospitals and G.P. Surgeries with an ‘Accuvein’ vein finder device.

The first Accuvein device was delivered to Worcester Royal Hospital in 2021 and since then requests for the device have been increasing dramatically.

Vein finders can help improve Leukaemia patients and other patients comfort. “With AccuVein, clinicians can see veins, valves, and bifurcations not visible to the naked eye, leading to better-informed decisions, improved needle placement, and enhanced patient care.”
